Yes, the big question, why whilst running a successful and growing business and living a pretty good standard of life did you choose to become a musical theatre student?
Something just wasn’t quite right. I was dissatisfied with my life. Don’t get me wrong I love teaching and my students are all kinds of great. Things were getting exciting at church and my family life was cool but still… Something just wasn’t quite right.
You see the dream was to sing for a living. Not teach it. Not help others reach that goal but to do it myself and somehow (I thinks it’s called doing life) that just got a bit waylaid. I’d done a few gigs and recorded some songs, but the creativity I longed for and the way to express it wasn’t present.
So my GUGY was a way to journey into me being more creative and not putting up with being dissatisfied with life.
Life for me should be abundant, rich, overflowing. That can be found in the simplicity of being creative, authentically you and embracing what you have been given.
Signing off for now.
